Women in the 1950's

This has to be one of the funniest and probably most unethical ways I can express the sexist and misogynistic (remember that word?!) attitudes in the 1950's. Check out this website and the article on how advertisements used to 'appeal' to women.

    It is a true masterpiece in sexism and misrepresentation of the female race. The advertisement surely proves the ignorance of the many, especially male, people in the 1950s that chose to insult women and pin them as lesser, inferior, omega organisms.

      Thank goodness we have advanced our society more so today! We still need to brake barriers, but at least we (as whole a civilization) do not need to deal with this nonsense.
